Give pottery a go in this one-off 2 hour class.
Service Description
Ever wanted to try using a pottery wheel but never wanted to commit to a multi week class? Well this booking is for you! It's a great idea for a fun date night, taster session to decide if you want to sign up for the longer classes and just to have a laugh with your friends. Class is held between 6pm-8pm. What you get: - Hands on play on the pottery wheel for 2 hours. - Expert guidance and demonstrations from Nancy and will teach you a couple of basic forms. - You can opt for hands on teaching from Nancy with each form, or you can choose to learn through trial and error. - Make as many pieces as you'd like in the 2 hour window. - At the end of class choose 3 pieces that will be trimmed, fired and glazed for you in a white glaze. - Once your pieces are ready for pick up, Nancy will email you to arrange pick up from the studio. Postage is also available at an extra fee. - Classes are available for booking to everyone 10 years and older at this stage only. - BYO drinks for participants over the age of 18. Please wear enclosed shoes and comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting a bit dirty - aprons will be provided for you to wear while on the wheel. The pottery wheels have a remote foot pedal that can be moved to each side depending what is easiest for you. Accessibility: The studio is located in the downstairs level of our home. Access is via the stairs out the front, if you require any assistance to reach the studio please let me know and I can bring you up the driveway in my car. Once at the top access is clear. Refunds/Exchanges - Classes: If you have changed your mind about completing a class, please let me know within 7 days of booking for a full refund/exchange of dates. Unless you book less than 7 days prior to the class. If the change of mind happens in the 7 days leading up to the class only a 50% refund/exchange is possible, unless your spot can be filled. Extenuating circumstances do happen, if in doubt, please speak with me about your situation. ​ Class cancellations: If I have to cancel or postpone the class due to any reason there will be a makeup date available for the class. If that does not work for you then a full refund for the class will be issued on a pro rata basis.

Cancellation Policy
A full refund is issued if cancelling more than 7 days before the start of first class. If cancelling within the 7 days a 50% refund is given unless your spot in the class can be filled.
